The Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon blend is one of the most challenging and exciting wine styles to produce. There is a synergy between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that produces arguably the most complete, complex, fragrant and satisfying style of red wine in the world. Grown in the warm climates and light, stony soils of the Bridge Pa Triangle and Gimblett Gravels - Church Road Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon has a core of dark berry fruit, cherry and plum that is lifted by top notes of subtle spice, violet, rosewood and cedar. Medium weight on the palate initially, before building to a long, substantial finish.

Church Road Syrah expressed the warm climate of Hawke's Bay perfectly with ripe plum, cherry and hints of spice. Complexity from it's time in oak barrels offers this wine profound texture, body and finesse. Suitable for any occasion and paired with red meats, pastas or to have with your next convivial moment shared with friends or family.

2020 was a stunning season, warm & dry with just the right amount of heat when needed in the middle of flowering mid-December, giving the views energy to set small, intensely flavoured berries. The colour is a satisfyingly deep ruby/magenta with garnet hues, ideal for a fine young Pinot. The aromas are distinctly ripe and obviously Clos Ostler - red & dark currants, raspberries, cherries and a touch of damson plum. The spice from the ripe seeds is intoxicating giving a delicious brown baking spice aroma of clove, nutmeg & anise. All this is accented by the most delicate yet intense dark liquorice French oak. The palate is immensely satisfying with a delicious sweet ripe fruit entry that builds in intensity as it is warmed in the mouth. Layers of fruit sit beautifully poised with more of those red & dark fruits sitting in the mid-palate without being heavy or clunky. Powdery & silky tannins provide the perfect foil for richness of the fruit & gentle acidity holds the wine together. It is a classic Caroline's in a similar mold to the 2010 & 2016.

A fruity, soft, medium-bodied wine, with an intense red colour and a warm bouquet of ripe red fruits such as blackberry and plum. Perfect in combination with roasts, grilled meats and first courses.

This classic, well-rounded, plum-scented Italian red is made from Montepulciano grapes grown in the Abruzzo region, on Italy's Adriatic coast.

Corte Vigna is crafted with native grapes from Puglia. This Sangiovese has a complex olfactory fragrance with aromas of fresh fruit and raspberries, good structure and dry flavour.

A complex concentrated wine with ample velvety tannins, a lovely mineral acidity and a very long finish.

This is a smooth and fruit orientated Gimblett Gravels blend. Deep purple in colour, it has a bouquet of dried herbs, red berries and subtle hints of cedar from a period of barrel maturation.
