The Hombo family have been distilling for more than a century and they added whisky to their repertoire in 1949 in Kagoshima. This whisky is inspired by great whiskies of America. A majority of corn balanced with light malt aged in ex bourbon barrels. Ideal for daily sipping, in a mint julep or an old fashioned.

The whisky has a powerful, peat-smoke aroma, and is described as being robustly full-bodied, well balanced, and smooth, with a slight sweetness on the palate. International Spirit ratings competitions have generally given Lagavulin's 16-year spirit extremely high scores.

Aged in traditional oak casks and finished in Caribbean rum casks which result in a well-rounded whisky with notes of toffee, fruit and vanilla.

This exquisite 'Full Flight' single cask bottling layers honeyed Central Otago apricots, seasoned with applewood and vanilla, and finished with a dollop of rich cream custard. Bottled at seven years and one day, this single cask was hand-selected for Cardrona's final progress report range, 'Full Flight'.

The Dalmore 15 year old was first launched in 2007. Matured in Matusalem, Apostoles and Amoroso Sherry casks, it proffers all those winter spice, orange zest and chocolate notes characteristic of Dalmore.
