Leefield Station is a range of wines that celebrate the history of the iconic sheep and beef station located in the heart of the Waihopai Valley. Purchased in 2013 by Marisco Vineyards, the property inspired us to go back to the beginning with our winemaking approach.

The nose is packed with an abundance of citrus and stone fruit, together with the tropical aromas of pineapple and guava. Interspersed also with floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle and jasmine. The palate is concentrated and mouth-filling, yet balanced with refreshing acidity that complements its lingering dry finish. Vegan Friendly.

Aromas of ripe melon and peach abound with butterscotch and fig notes. The palate is rich, with ripe fruits, showcasing peach flavours and an inherent creaminess, and a lingering bright finish.

Pale straw with lime green hints. A classic rich Chardonnay nose with aromas of ripe stone fruits and poached pears combined with hints of biscuit and toasted almonds from barrel maturation. This Buttery Chardonnay is golden-straw in colour and opens with decadent aromas. The creamy, rich buttery flavours swirl with notes of stone and tropical fruits with sweet baking spices. Oak ageing creates a finish of crème brûlée and toasty brioche. Enjoy this wine with roasted chicken, grilled salmon, creamy dishes, and pungent cheeses.

Rockburn Chardonnay leans towards the crisper and lighter end of the spectrum, demanding minimal use of oak. The nose is pure and subtle with elements of wet stone, lemon zest and ripe peach. The palate is full, textural with fine tension, showing lemon meringue, butterscotch and delicate minerality and a zesty finish. A perfect complement to roast chicken, risotto, and seafood.
