This wine is dark garnet with purple hues in colour. On the nose it is fragrant with violet, red cherry, blackberry, dark plum aromas. A fruit driven wine with concentrated black plum, red cherry and mocha notes. Ample silky fine tannins, toasty oak and a long ripe berry finish.

Aromas of earthy plum, black cherry and liquorice the palate is rich and fleshy with ripe dark fruit and velvety tannins.

Crafted from pristine grapes that were hand harvested from a single Pisa vineyard Site. Naturally fermented and pressed to allow an extended period of maturation in French Oak. The Mount Michael Pinot Noir is beautifully fragrant showing aromas of dark cherries and plums, violets and raspberries and a hint of clove and vanilla. The owner of the Rabbit Ranch - Mr McGregor, planted some vines and tried unsuccessfully to reduce the rabbit population. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fueled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story...
